Be Haunted by History This Month @ Your Library! More Kentucky Ghosts is a presentation by Lynwood Montell, Western Kentucky University Folk Studies Professor Emeritus & author. Much of Kentucky's rich historical legacy is preserved in ghost stories. Montell's talk will also discuss the historic value of hearing and preserving Kentucky's verbal legacy. Every Saturday during the month of October, the Library will show the 1962 version of To Kill A Mockingbird, starring Gregory Peck. MHT River City Ghost Tour: Legends & Lore, Market House Theatre (132 Market House Square, Paducah), 6 p.m., aprox. $14.
Walk through historic Downtown and LowerTown and discover Paducah's haunted past in Market House Theatre's River City Ghost Tour: Legends and Lore. All ticketholders must be ages 6 and up. Tours last approximately 40 minutes and leave on the half hour starting at 6 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m. Tickets on sale beginning September 15.
