The Book Ends Reading Club meet the 1st Monday of the month (except for October and holidays) at 5:30 pm in the Library. New members are invited to attend and to join in the lively book discussions. Every month a new book is chosen for discussion. You will receive your copy of the book from the Library and read it prior to the meeting. Books are furnished by the library on loan from the Kentucky Department of Libraries in Frankfort or borrowed from nearby state libraries for the Book Club.

Every Saturday during the month of October, the Library will show the 1962 version of To Kill A Mockingbird, starring Gregory Peck. Join old or new friends afterward for coffee downtown and a discussion comparing the movie with the book. Part of the National Endowment for the Arts program, The Big Read.

Walk through historic Downtown and LowerTown and discover Paducah's haunted past in Market House Theatre's River City Ghost Tour: Legends and Lore. All ticketholders must be ages 6 and up.
