Tandem Drawing. Imagine drawing a picture together with someone, at the same time, on opposite sides of a wall of glass. That’s tandem drawing! Session limited to 8 participants. 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., free.

Shapescapes. Create abstract 3-D sculptures solo. Then everyone will work together to form a 90 piece group sculpture! 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., free.

Literacy and Charity: They Write, They Read, They Give

Two interesting pieces of information from the Paducah Sun today:

Pam Whinnery donated $500, the proceeds from her book Favorite Recipes of Kentucky Celebrities, to Paducah Cooperative Ministry.

Andrew Crown-Weber, Danville, KY native, is bicycling across the country to raise donations for the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning in Lexington, KY. He's calling his journey “Riding for Reading.”
