2010 The Vagina Monologues Auditions, Grace Episcopal Church (829 Broadway), 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Eve Ensler, The Vagina Monologues author, has created a series of monologues that depict the honest, humorous, and sometimes tragic condition of women and children. About 25 female roles are available for the show, set for 2010. Auditions are Dec. 14 and 15. For more info., please contact Shirley Johnson. Volunteers are needed too—contact Charles Schneider. Story Time: Christmas Giving (The Shoemaker and the Elves--Don’t be selfish, be elfish!); McCracken County Public Library (555 Washington St., Paducah); 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.; free.
