Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man Book Discussion, Christ Temple Church (523 North 12th St., Paducah), 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Murray State’s Regional Special Events Center (1401 State Route 121 North, Murray, KY), 7 p.m., free.
The latest speaker in Murray State University’s Presidential Lecture Series is Archbishop Desmond Tutu, world-renowned human rights activist, author, and Nobel Peace Prize recipient. Beginning with his opposition to apartheid in South Africa, Tutu has worked tirelessly to spread peace, justice, and democracy; and to end racial divisions throughout the world.

Back by popular demand! Always…Patsy Cline is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in l961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. This musical play, complete with down-home country humor, true emotion, and even some audience participation, includes many of Cline's unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, and Sweet Dreams… 27 songs in all. The show’s title was inspired by Cline's letters to Seger, which were consistently signed "Love ALWAYS... Patsy Cline.” Tickets are on sale now. Reserve seats by calling (888) 362-4223.
