Abby seeks acceptance as the newest member of her school’s championship volleyball team. Her struggle to fit in spotlights the tumultuous world of middle school girls and the destructive effects of girls’ bullying. Gossiping, keeping secrets, friendship as a weapon, and cliques are all explored, along with cyber bullying via texting, chat rooms, and cell phones. Every Saturday during the month of October, the Library will show the 1962 version of To Kill A Mockingbird, starring Gregory Peck. The gala kickoff for the month-long Market House Theatre River City Ghost Tour: Legends and Lore.
