Events for February 1 Through February 7

Monday, February 1
The Lucky One by Nicolas Sparks: Bookends Book Club, Graves County Public Library (601 N. 17th Street, Mayfield, KY), 5:30 p.m., free.
New members are invited to attend and to join in the lively book discussions. Copies of the book are on loan from the Library and members read it prior to the meeting. All you need to do is just call the Library at (270) 247-2911 to sign up. They'll have a copy of the book waiting for you. The Book Ends Reading Club meet the 1st Monday of the month (except for holidays).

Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man Book Discussion, Christ Temple Church (523 North 12th St., Paducah), 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
We will be discussing the No. 1 best-selling book by Steve Harvey, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. Two chapters will be discussed each Monday, through March 15. For more info, contact Deborah Walton, (270) 575-3823.
